Rpol Game Needs A New Member

We're just getting started and lost a Yitek Tomb Robber.

Celebrated every 33 years, Lo-Tann?s Search of Wondrous Utility is an event fabled throughout the lands of Talislanta. It draws the heroes and heroines of the continent together to struggle against the elements of the world, the dangers of the land and the villainy of their fellow participants. Each time, the wealthy and powerful alike wait with baited breath to see if they receive a Patronage Invitation to participate in the making of legends. Once Invited, each Patron must field a Troupe of Participants who are tasked with scouring the ends of the continent for a predetermined set of items. Mundane and magical, no Troupe has ever completed the entire List. The Winner, they who gather the most, win the ultimate Prize for their Patron. Each event, the Prize changes but it is always the stuff of fables and dreams. For the Participants of the Troupe, fame and glory are the least of their rewards as simply participating is enough to hear their names sung into verse and carried throughout the halls of the great and mighty in Talislanta. In the end, the Search is the grandest race ever known?

    Synopsis
This is a Talislanta 5th edition game. The purpose of the game is to explore all that the world of Talislanta has to offer in locations, adventures, intrigue and social settings. I want players to be interested in the many different aspects that Talislanta can provide, inspired by Vance, from Grand Balls to dungeon-delving to fighting the winds over the Obsidian Mountains. As such, the game has a set theme and quest. This quest will take the characters across the continent and require them to use their wits, their savvy, arcana and blades to be victorious. Sometimes an excellent use of poise and etiquette will get you further than any violence and sometimes you must let your blood run to fulfill the quest.

    Player Requirements

    1. Players must be 18 years of age and provide a verification of that prior to being allowed into the game.

    2. Players must have access to Talislanta material. If you do not have 5th edition, we can find a way to work around that but Character Generation may be frustrating. A magic-using character is required to have 5th edition.

    3. Maintaining momentum requires good posting habits. Please commit to 4-7 posts per week. If you are absent on specific days, please let me know. This is not grounds for refusing a RTJ on its face.

    4. Please provide a written sample of no less than 30 words. This can be a link to another Rpol game, a short story, an introductory passage, or anything else. I?m looking for people who will post more than a sentence even when they don?t need to.

    5. I'm looking for someone who will do more than "sit at the table and roll dice." I need a participant. I know PbP games can be frustrating with pacing and such so make sure you're committed before sending a request to join.
