Story

Shannon begins wandering the streets of Queens, not knowing where she is going, She ends up going to Joes Pool hall and manages to get harassed by the local white gang, she leaves shortly after, and makes her way to Target, where Guy is working, there a group of the white gang robs one of the cashiers, though Guy doesn't care, he lets them leave, where Jerinal stops them in the parking lot, he gets shot at, then he shoots back with his own mini missile launcher, killing 5 of the 6 gang members.

Later he gets arrested by Shannon, shortly thereafter Guy and Shannon meet at Joes pool hall, where they soon meet the villain of this section of the story, shooting fire and being incredibly hard to kill, though Guy manages to kill him (with only 13 HPs left).

Joes pool hall burns down, but the villain is dead.

After leaving the pool hall, Shannon gets attacked by a 9-foot tall robot, bent on returning her to the army

Dhamphir worked at Joes Pool hall, and was heading to work when he saw the fire, and shortly after, the robot, Berserker was minding his own business in his electrician’s shop, till the robot crashed into it. Dr. Hertzog was on his way to work when the large robot stopped his car.

Shannon, and 3 others (Berserker, Dhamphir and Dr. Hertzog) manage to fend off the robot, while Guy sees this going on, he gets mad, and jumps in the fight, shortly after the fight, he accidentally triggers the self destruct sequence which promptly takes out 17 blocks of Queens, the heroes manage to just barely escape.

They begin forming plans for their new group (The Authority), where they are eventually given 5 thousand dollars from the mayor, to build a headquarters. They begin wondering where to get the money...

Group followed a small time drug runner named Vinnie, to DJ Snazzy's mansion, he went in with drugs (taped to his body) left with 12 thousand dollars, the jumped him shortly afterward, stealing his money, he squealed, leading them to Fast Eddie (large white guy), shoot out ensues at eddies, they find out that their boss is at the Metro building.

They go there, and eventually get their asses handed to them, Berserker gets killed (though revives, NOTE. Nanites, injected into Berserker brought out a latent power, Magnetism)

They toss Shin (the hunter) out of the building, he lands on a car driving by, killing both passengers instantly (Kelly and Preston Detweiler, son and daughter in law of the mayor)

He gets up shortly after, and leaves. They meet up with the scientist shortly thereafter, he has told Dhamphir some information about the "hunter", though hasn't said much, has offered them money, and giving them a key to a lock box that contains the money, he will help them, in return for their help at a later date. (GM note, this may involve space travel)

Group now has the basics of their building done. New recruits have come in, and during this time, a video tape was sent to the group, Via someone named "Dev/Null" (16 year old male human, dreamer gizmoteer) the tape affirms their suspicions that Shin and Maxwell are working together, they go to confront Maxwell, he is gone, they think he is going to Shins place (which he was), they confront Shin, and eventually manage to kill him, they make it back to their HQ and a news report shows shins half of the metro building taking off, presumably its Maxwell (and it is)

The Authority called in favors, and managed to get up on the building and inside before it was too high, while Berserker shot at it with his electricity blasts, doing some minor damage, including knocking out one of the engines. Once everyone was inside they headed to the engines to try and shut it down, then once there they were goaded by Maxwell, who was in a small capsule at the top of the building.

They rush to the top and manage to talk with Maxwell for a bit, before Shannon knocks out the computer, though Dhamphir manages to get it working after Maxwell made his getaway (he landed in China), Berserker was able to reprogram the ships computer to display in English, and they finally got the ship into an orbit, soon after they were picked up by black ops, and taken to Groom Lake in Nevada. They were made aware of some elements of national security (super soldier programs and bionics) they were taken to see a general, who requested that they sign nondisclosure forms, though they were blank, they refused, and soon after, escaped while they were on their way back to the barracks... they return to Queens and meet up with Dev/Null, and shortly thereafter hear about the bodies reported at the long island construction site

NEWS REPORT: 2 bodies found at a long island beach side construction site, no details have surfaced as to the identity of the bodies, they are dressed in rags, police will not comment on the bodies.

Samples taken from the bodies will reveal that they are both fish and man, and that they were designed to die, subjects are not being done magically, they are being done via an elixir, administered by Dr. William Davis Ko. This knowledge will have to be gained from actual legwork, not from just happenstance.

Group has gone to the oil derrick where Dr. Ko is working, and found the cat, Jiang, who appears to be some sort of demonic being. Group has also taken several vials of various elixirs that the doc was working on, should they take any, the effects will be immediate... some good, most bad.

They found out a variety of leads that they don’t seem interested in. including that Dr. Ko works for a company called Inatech, who funds his research. In return for the elixirs. Magadon owns the building that is being built on the long island construction site, which is a daughter company of Inatech, Magadon makes pharmaceuticals.

Should they follow up with the Inatech angle, they will find that they plan on releasing Dr. Ko's elixirs to the public, in the form of beauty aids (facial creams, ETC)

Group went back to the oil derrick, after tracing down several leads, that led them to believe that Dr. Ko was evil and needed to be stopped, they managed to get Dhamphir’s contacts (the Long Island Salvage and Rescue company) to help them and they went to the derrick. Once there they came up from underneath and found the cap that was placed there by the oil company, when the derrick stopped producing oil, they planned on going down below to see what was there, after numerous uses of Berserkers powers, they manage to get down below, and were in a cavern about 25 feet deep and 45 feet wide, along the far wall they saw some sort of gateway, Charles used his read magic ability and was able to determine that the runes and glyphs carved into it were the names of several realms. They promptly had Shannon set enough C4 to level the cavern and the derrick, though before hand Charles used the locate spell and found that Dr. Ko was nowhere to be found, when the cat was banished, the link it had formed, forced Ko along with him

Group has injected every one of the founders, and their wizard with Nanites, they know only that the nanites feed on iron. The group has been called by one of the doctors at the morgue (Charles was called), he was be told of the lack of iron in the mans blood work determined that he had little to no iron in his body, a tissue sample of the heart found a few nanites... they nanites in his bodies matched ones that were in the other two, they also found a secondary menu in the nanites program, they found a section for Assassinations (heart failure, liver failure, asphyxiation, and chemical overdose). Through some testing they found out everything they could about both types, and finally convinced Guy to be injected with the construction nanites.

Charles went astral and found Maxwell in Hong Kong, the group scrambled their jets, and made their way there.

Once there they found a 2 story warehouse that Maxwell was at, the cased the place, and found out that there were too many troops for a direct confrontation, so by using the newly awakened powers given by the nanites, Shannon was able to get in quietly and set up enough high explosives to level the building, and the gateway they found in its interior (10 sticks of TNT and a pound of C4, 20D4X10 damage, damage total came to 440)

The last image they saw before fleeing was of a monitor display that had a short segment replaying over and over, revealing that an invasion was impending.

Maxwell is indeed dead, they found his head, and took it back to their lab presumably to keep it with Shins electronic brain.
