Hello.

I'm in the process of expanding the D6 entries on wikipedia. As a part of this, I've created a category for games using the D6 System.

I'm inviting members of this community to contribute to creating an article. The more detailed the article becomes, the better, but at the start it only needs to be a few paragraphs.

An overview of the setting, some examples, that kind of thing.

If you draw a lot from the rulebook intro, be sure to put as much of it into different wording as you reasonably can. If you want to quote directly, be sure to make that clear and include the appropriate tag indicating so.

The same goes with graphics - uploading logos and book covers, etc, is quite common on wikipedia but must be tagged as copyrighted material.

I'll likely create a stub article today, just to provide a framework for editing.

Thanks!

Actually, I was thinking that if you had links to promotional briefs or other materials, that could be used as a framework for the article, that would be extremely helpful.

Okay, I'm going to try doing a stub using various materials and the demo pdfs, but I've been kind of reluctant to do an outright stub, since there are wikipedians who go around deleting them.

I haven't actually purchased it yet, so what I know is limited to heresay and some posts I've read. I just know that it's the most popular licenced D6 game, and therefore should be one of the primary articles under the "games using D6" category.

I'll post here when the stub is up - at that point maybe you, or other fans who may know more than I, might do some editing to it.
