Hello!
As an insecure writer, I was hoping that some of the folks who played in Jerry's GenCon Godsend game might let me know what they thought of the game, any stumbling blocks, unclear bits, etc.
I know Jerry is a very energetic and spontaneous GM, and he probably spackled over any problem areas of my adventure, but I was hoping folks could let me know what was good, and what could be improved.

Well, the entire thing sucked... it was only Jerry who redeemed the whole thing. :p
Just kidding!
The story was great, the only flaw i saw was just an after thought... how come the guy that was controlling the robot (4 armed guy we met later) was bad, and in the end the tree was good? That was just kinda a loose end to me... i kind of assumed at the time he was working for the assistant who wanted the power for himself... Kinda just wondering if we killed the guy in the trophy shop wrongly... (even tho he tried to kill us... LOL)
Then again, you have to understand that i've never had the chance to read any of the history of the game at this point, and i was a newbie to the whole experience at that point. Not sure if any of that would be explained there.
Kudos on the whole thing tho, the story was great and had a great GM running it so it all flowed very well. ;)

Darren,
I was one of players that had the satisfaction of trying this game at GenCon with Jerry gming for us.
We were a group that hadnt played a tabletop rpg for quite awhile due to total addiction to MMO's and due to that I thought we were gonna lack the necessary "skills" to play this game. I was wrong.
I gotta admit that, in the beginning, with that giant robot causing havoc and destroying many Steak n' Shakes around the downtown area, I thought the game was just gonna be another "superhero" cliched system. But, as the plot unfolded, I do believe that it held our attention with many enjoyable surprises. It was non stop action. I felt like I was playing a mix of Alien VS. Predator, with bits of The Thing, and a little bit of Chariots of the Gods. It was real, real good.
As my last words, Darren. Your insecurity should not get a hold of you, at least on this matter. The adventure was well written to such a point that us "noobies"caught the ideia of what was happening with no major problems. Congrats for that :).
Wish you all the best of luck and keep on the good ideias. Every book that you guys put out there as good as this, I will be buying it.
Cheers,
Andre
PS: Ka points saves lifes. Almost had my spine torn out of me by a bio-assassin if it wasnt for those points :D
