ok guys, whats up, because man is the book allowing some extremely broken things to almost happen

according to the book, when you choose to remove an enhancement to a power, you get 4 times rank, times base cost of enhancement..

had i let that fly, a player last night would have gotten 178 CP's to spend, just for removing an enhancement.

what gives?... typo?.. should it read 4 times base cost of enhancement?, or what

if it is truely 4 times rank times base enhancement cost, this needs to be changed.. otherwise i could create a character, add an enhancement to a power then (not even a useful one) remove it afterwords, gain a buttload of CP's, add another, remove it, add even more, and be able to take out elohim and chimereans all by my lonesome.

Sorry its taken me this long to reply. I’ve been busy putting GODSEND Agenda Mythos together to have it ready for GenCon. The book is now at the printers and will make its debut in about a week at the biggest gaming convention in the universe.

At the moment I’m in the middle of getting the adventure I’m going to run ready. I want it to be something neat so I’m focusing on it. Again Im sorry for the late post.

You are correct the rules as stated there are “borked” when that was written I was smoking crack!…or at least that’s my excuse;) (actually just a lot of Star Wars galaxies, Halo and Talislanta)

The rule should read like this;
A character can also remove an Enhancement or acquire a Limitation after character creation. A character who purposely removes an Enhancement from a Super Power receives the rank of the power times the base cost of the Enhancement in Character Points. The character can’t rely on the Enhancement until the player buys it again.

I hope that clears up the problem…

now back to the crack……
