One Million way to Wonder Woman

Talking with a friend today got me thinking about how different people would model the same character. To me it would be logical to model him one way and he would model it completely different. On various other super heroes rpg boards I’ve seen Superman, Spider-Man, and others modeled countless different ways.

I’m curious, how would you stat…Wonder Woman? Although I’d prefer you use the GODSEND Agenda rule set any super hero rules can be used (I know Prophet118 has a soft spot for Palladium so I’m curious to see how he would interpret her using that system ;)).

ok i dont know as much bout wonder woman as,,, say superman... while i love super hero games, i never really got into comics

ok heres what i know

she has a magic lasso (entangle?) its also fairly tough (easily done with gadget rules)

shes got those bracelets, some sort of deflection power, they are also strong.

umm the woman herself seems rather strong, also possibly has longevity (olr flat out immortality)

hmm... id have to think bout stat wise..lol

wonder woman in HU would really be simple

extraordinary physical strength, prowess, beauty, and endurance. she has two gadgets (magic weapons in HU are really simple and best used as a prop, and as such created however you want)

shed likely have immortality in HU as well...


but i dont know much bout her..lol... DC super heroes are always easier to convert than marvel

even superman is easy

he is as strong as the plot dictates
he moves as fast as a speeding plot, but not always fast enough
his other powers are dictated by plot..lol

hes still afraid of guns being thrown at him....lol

Heh. My first serious gaming group was a RIFTS group and I've played that game as much as I have D&D for many many years. Even though Simbieda invented the term "power creep" I still loves me some Rifts and Nightbane, and even HU.

And you forgot about the invisible plane! (gadget with flight, invis - limitation does not make pilot invisible?) :)

Current comic WW also has Flight herself I believe.

Okay yeah, the invisible plane was one of the lamest things I've ever seen aside from Birdman.

I spose it's different if you didn't grow up watching it. The plane was just part of the wonder woman package, like the stupid purple chimp and aquaman's crappy powers.

But it was cool THEN darnit! I almost cheered when I heard the words WONDER TWIN POWERS......ACTIVATE! :cool:

so if i had to ceate wonder woman in GSA

i suppose id go for fairly above average physical stats (7-8d)
she get an amount of gadgets/artifacts (bracelets, lasso.... grumble grumble ship)

the bracelets would have some sort of deflection power, the lasso (used to be able to make men tell the truth if coiled in it :P) who knows

other than that i dont see her as very wonderiffic..lol

Weren't the bracers' only power that they were essentially indestructable? I think it was HER that had the skill to deflect bullets.

Right on the lasso. I spose that'd be some sort of specialization of mind control? (mmm...Linda Carter with a lasso)

I think the plane was also indestructable and, of course, invisible. (everybody remember where we parked). I can't seem to remember whether it made HER invisible or not. :rolleyes:

She's super strong (but not as strong as superman), super coordination, I think has some sort of super defense or invulnerability power as well? And flight if you go by the latest WW incarnation.
