ok... so i was checking through these rules last night, and noticed it doesnt really explicitly say how to add powers to a gadget... i assume that you simply had the number of ranks you want in something, to the gadget point cost... would this be accurate?

Here is an example of gadget creation
The Infrared Glasses can be found on page 252 of the GODSEND Agenda core book.
Infrared Glasses
Toughness: 1D
Powers: Infrared Vision 5
Gadget modifiers: Equipment, Fragile
Notes: This gadget look like a pair of common sunglasses.
Point Cost: 3
For the sake of the example we wont worry about U.S.E.R.’s special cost or requisition levels.

Now turn to page 99 for gadget creation.

-1st off we buy the gadget’s toughness
Toughness 1D (cost 2 points)

- 2nd step: Powers
Powers are bought as if you are buying powers for a normal character in the game.
Infrared Vision at rank 5 (cost 10 points)

Total (cost 12 points)

-3rd step: Gadget Multiplier (page 101)
Gadgets Cost Multiplier: This gadget is not a vehicle, or a piece or armor so it falls under the Equipment/Weapon category modifier. We multiply to point total by 50% (12 x 50% =6 points)
Cost so far: 6 points

-4th step: Gadget Modifiers (page 102)
The glasses are easily broken so the Fragile[/] modifier seems appropriate.
[i]This reduces the cost by 3 points

TOTAL COST: 3 points

ok doke, i just wanted to make sure i had it correct..lol

im sure im going to run into a few people wanting to play gadgeteer characters
