"THE Chernobyl nuclear disaster has spawned a generation of ‘mutant’ super-brainy children. Kids growing up in areas damaged by radiation from the plant have a higher IQ and faster reaction times, say Russian doctors. They are also growing faster and have stronger immune systems."

Lemme guess, that article was originally from the Pravda (http://english.pravda.ru/) before the Sun printed it, right? Dude, as a Swede I can definetely tell you that the Pravda is one disreputable newspaper. Completely on par, in fact, with the India Daily (http://www.somethingawful.com/articles.php?a=2803).

One funny article that I remember reading about in the Pravda's science section in the past went something along the lines of "CITY OF GLASS DISCOVERED ON MOON'S SURFACE!" "Wow!", I thought. Of course, later on I found that it was based entirely on the "works" of Richard Hoagland, famed pseudoscientist. Silly Pravda.

I wonder if there are people out there irradiating themselves in hopes of increasing their intelligence.. which is probably very low.
