Hey y'all... The web page looks great... I know I asked this before, but what software do you use to create your graphics? I've got the whole dreamweaver/fireworks/freehand package but I'm having trouble creating logos and graphics, changing stuff around, making colours transparent, etc. so I'm wondering if I need Corel or something to go with it.

In case you're wondering why I haven't been around lately (and also if you haven't been wondering), its partly because of work and partly because of my latest project (http://compassgames.com). Boardgamers may find it interesting. :D

Also, Five Pillars (http://t5p.jaggu.org/) is going to reset in about a week and a half, in case anyone's got time to have a go. We missed ya last month, Brent, when we had a nasty flame war in the forum.

Well, the main NA!P webpage is designed by yours truly, so if you were talking about that one, then thanks for the compliment.

I just use Frontpage for every page I do, and PSP 7.0 for all my illustrations. I like to keep things as simple as possible. Most people viewing NA!P seems to think the results turn out fab, so it's all good. PSP 7 has good transparecy tools, especially if you use the "aritmethic" -function and add pictures together.

If you or anyone else ever would want me to make a page (for payment), then by all means get in touch. I'd love a job where I get paid cash for what I do.

You want CASH??? I thought you socialist types believed in giving stuff away... :p Actually, I'll keep you in mind if we need something more sophisticated than what I can manage. Thanks for the software tip. :)

Grinch, are you helping to design games, or just doing their webpage?

Hey y'all... I've been pulling a lot of all-nighters but finally got our online store working. Plus, over the past few months I've given it a complete overhaul. The original page was pretty ugly, but as I learn how to do stuff it has been getting a lot better. So far I've done it all on Dreamweaver and Fireworks, but I just got some new software so I'll be able to do more when I learn it.

To answer your question, Brent, I'm "officially" doing their web page, but I'm also working on a few games for them as well - assuming the they turn out any good and they decide they want them, which is not guaranteed. Web pages are easy compared to designing a decent game that is fun and balanced, yet reflects reasonably accurate history.

All this on top of teaching four classes this fall... Which means I might not be back for a visit until December! :o

Hey Grinch -- send me an email (brent>AT<noapologiespress.com). I think the address I have for you is no longer being checked.

So this is a single player wargame? That sounds interesting. Last board game I got was Ticket to Ride by Days of Wonder. It is a very fun game. A lot more fun than the games my parents drug out when I was a kid.

I rule at single-player games. You should see me on Pocket Pool™! Man, I really know how to move those balls around.
