Hi guys,

Just bought the Godsend Agenda (on a whim) from my local game store. Had never heard of it before, but I'm a bit of a supers game collector and I liked the sound of the blurb on the back (doesn't hurt that the novel I'm reading at the moment involves themes of comparative religion and Atlantis).

Its probably pretty safe to say that I've been blown away. The setting is fantastically realised, original enough to hold the attention while also managing to hold to familiar themes. I've not digested the system fully, but have a familiarity with various previous versions of the d6 system going all the way back to 1e Star Wars, although it seems solid and simple enough.

Its always a pleasant (and rare) surprise when I gamble on a new game and am this impressed- and I'm looking forward to seeing where the game moves onto in the future. I'll hopefully post again when I've had the chance to really go over the rules, but for now I just wanted to say hi.

Cheers
Phil

Phil,

Thanks for the kind words. At the moment we are working on the 1st supplement called GODSEND Agenda: Mythos. A good portion of the book is written but there are a few story elements we have to iron out. I’d like to make the world as unconventional as possible so that it stands out from all the other super hero games out there.

Actually, I’d like to hear what others out there would like to see done with the gameworld.

By the way, what’s the name of the book you’re reading?

"Decipher", the author's names Stel Pavlou. It's a favourite of my better half who forced me to read it, and not too bad.... even has a lost Atlantean city hidden undet Antarctica (which, if I recall, the Godsend Agenda has too). Not too bad so far, themes involved are better than the actual delivery.
