Hello folks
We are putting together our next supplement and there will be a section on artifacts of power, basically gadgets from a bygone era and mythology. I’m looking for suggestion on what should be included and I figured I try here 1st since this is really the community that I’m gearing the supplements for.
I’m looking for mythic artifacts like Odin’s spear, Babba Yagga’s broom, Papa Legba’s cane, or Perseus’ shield. The more outlandish or obscure the better. The more common ones from mythology will be covered.
Any help would make my job a lot easier since I suffer from a disease called lazy. Thanks in advance.

How's about the 13 crystal skulls of Aztec legend, that when placed together will speak a prophecy about the future of mankind? Those are neat, and pretty obscure. At the moment most of them are in private collections scattered around the world, but a few remain undiscovered. This could make for an interesting campaign.
It came to my mind because one of them was in the newspaper recently, having apparently been debunked as a Victorian fake. Which, according to "skeptics", makes the rest of them fakes as well. Don't ask me . . .

Sounds like a way cool idea. Consider it swiped! ;)
Id like to have at least 20 items in the book broken up into weapons, armor, vehicles, and esoteric equipment. The skulls sound like a really neat and unorthodox artifact

Crystals... reminds me of a show about Atlantis I saw where they hypothesized that the ancient Atlanteans had crystals that could focus light to create laser beams that would destroy ships.

How about All Father Odins eye! the one he gave up! - Perhaps giving the user/owner the ability to see whaqtever....
That was just off the top of my head? Perhaps also a lock of lady Godiva (sp?) hair? - giving the ability to give credence to whatever the user says. or perhaps to help make whatever costume the owner is wearing to seem as if it blongs...
just a few quickies! hope this helps.
