I read this review before I realized it's the same guy who hosts our message boards. Good reading:

I was wondering why the hell you were reading gamegenre and then I saw the link on Fark. I've been considering submitting Grunion Guy gaming articles to that site for some time but have yet to really be motivated. Or to actually have an idea.

"When I was young, I read a ton of the Dungeons & Dragons Choose Your Own Adventure books. Music's always been my one passion in life. I had piano lessons when I was growing up..." I just love it. Just love it.

I just love it. Just love it.
My second woody of all time came from a choose-your-own. I think it was the one with the white dragon on the cover and the hot pixie or elf or something.

That's funny cause there weren't any females on the cover of that one!

Did you get your first woody from the cover of "Cave of Time"?

I had adventure books as a kid. In Swedish. I don't know if they existed in English at all. One took place in some kinda future setting and was called "Avfällingen", which would translate to "The Renegade". I can't remember much about it, except that it had you as some kind of hero from a time-travelling agency who had to go back and forward through time to save Earth. Oh, and you had psychic powers, too! It was cool, as I recall.

I liked the bit in Aeons review where he said the book just ended in a fashion reminiscent of the authors just suddenly growing tired of writing it and just stopping. Not a good sign in any written work, that.
