Hello,
I would like to know what types of supplements people would like to see for GODSEND Agenda. Since its not a standard “4 color” world supplements shouldn’t be either.
I’d like the supplements to be more than a villain’s folio and a city book.
Comments?

Organization books might be useful as well. Detailing an agencies programs (with adventure seeds for using them in a gam eto be thwarted or assisted), as well as a few more notable agents, technology and faciilities.

What sort of gadgets have these guys been using over the years? What secrets lie buried beneath the great pyramids? Staffs and rods, wands and ancient crystalline laser guns and that weird device shaped like a pyramid that can destroy the world.
A page per item, detailing where it is, who owned it in the past, what it can do, and a little adventure seed about how players might bump into it. And a picture, of course.

Off the top of my head:
A 128-page campaign book, with a new villain introduced in each of the first three adventures. Each villain will be a unique and influential character, with powerful motivations and a developed personality, and the adventures will set them up as classic recurring villains. As the story develops they become associated with each other through plot threads, teaming up in the final adventure to increase their effectiveness. They exhibit a team dynamic that matches that of the PCs and provides a worthy climactic challenge in the fourth and final chapter. Followed by an appendix with ideas on how to use the villainous team in further adventures.

I think a few other genre books would be neat ... perhaps one focusing on a more 4-color world? As for directly related to the GSA, I would say a few organization books, perhaps some racial books with expanded tech and history, maybe a few future-time related books?

How about some pdf comic books? Action stories that help establish the setting and themes, with stats at the end for the featured characters and MacGuffins.

I thought about this approach. It would be like the old Forgotten Realms comic produced by DC comics years ago.
The problem is finding an artist to do the book…a GOOD artist. If I could find a good artist that could work fast and cheaply I’d do it in a heartbeat. Maybe I’ll look into it.

I just read about the new book and I was wondering how "pliable" it is for generic d6 superheroics. I would like to know if the rules/powers/etc. replace or supplement what WEG produced in their DC Universe game.
Despite being an old-pro with D6 Star Wars, I was never that comfortable with the DCU game. I always had a hard time with character creation and figuring out the powers.
So, is Godsend usable for DCU use (albeit with some work, I would imagine)? I read that the game world is not standard 4-color, but is it viable for me?
Also, how can I get a copy of the Godsend book? My local shop is unaware of it and how to get it. Sigh...
I look forward to replies and comments. I can also be reached at ftroise@si.rr.com.
Thanks,
Frank

Hello Frank,
The game uses the standard D6 system not the D6 Legends system. Roll your D6 dice pool and hits a target number. Characters are built just like they are built using D6 Adventure, Fantasy, or Space. We’ve tried to make the game as accessible to long time D6 players as possible. You could use the game system to play Star Wars if you wanted since a Jedi was one of the characters we wanted to make to see if the system worked.
West End Games is handling our distribution, so if they can order D6 products they can order GODSEND Agenda.
You can find a sample of the game here http://www.godsendagenda.com/art/GODSENDSampler2.pdf
I hope that helps some

Also a dosier of the main characters from that agency, just my 2 cents.

GODSEND Agenda: Mythos
This is the rough outline of what is in the next source book. This may change as more stuff is added.
- Two major adventures, one set during Victorian times and the other set in modern times dealing with chthonic outer gods.
-Plots hooks for different eras of play from the age of heroes to the modern age.
-Two organization write up and hooks for using them in your game.
-Gadgets and artifacts from bygone times. (still looking for cool artifacts from Asian, African, and south American myths)
-An expanded world background information gazette
-Various pantheon and character write ups.
