So, I'm going to be on the road for the next 10 days or so. Driving to Eureka, Calif. to be drunk and stupid with Jeff and Ken, after which I'll fly to Phoenix for work shit, after which I'll be hanging in Capitola, Calif. to be drunk and stupid with other people.

CAPITOLA? Any name for anything ending in "ola" is teh fancy. Because at one time, that word sounded newfangled and modern to those crazy Victorians. Pianola, Loyola, Victrola, Crayola, and now Capitola.
But was Capitola teh fancy?

Yep! It's the rich guy's Santa Cruz! Not really -- most of it is just suburbia, but the touristy downtown area, on the beach, is pokey-sweet. It's also home of the first place I ever enjoyed coffee, right after highschool. Anyway.
