Mongo, again, doesn't know what he's talking about. We did so have giant robot suits in World War II! How does he think FDR killed Hitler? FDR had polio for goodness' sakes.

Anyone who has seen the film Pearl Harbor would know that FDR also donned a robot suit with hydraulic legs in order to make his point that we should finally go to war with China for bombing Tianamen Square. It was very moving, and, I'm sure, historically accurate.

Sheesh. The thing that sucks is that shortly after the war, we abandoned the robot suit technology to invest in Chevrolet's "Tailfins on Everything With Wheels" initiative. Can you imagine if we had had those things on the moon? We would made the sea of tranquility look like a divot, I tell you.

Captain America was made inside the Matrix?

Look, there's the Nicky Fury + SHIELD version of WW2, and WW2 according to John Woo. I'm going for the one according to Medal of Honor, hence, no robot suits!

Wait... so what you're saying is that right now we're inside a computer program?

Captain America fought with Login? While Captain America fought with a patriotic shield, did Login toss blinking cursors? Only Canadia would think up such a dumb super hero.

In the real WWII, the robot suits had crayon marks up the backs of their legs, because the Air Force needed real nylons for their U.S.O. shows.

I'm so glad I get the History Channel.

I used to fight with Login too, back when he still was paired up with his sidekick, Dialup.

You are both thinking about Captain America Online, which had wide appeal, but very little depth.

I think I've heard of him. Isn't his superpower generating billions of little free CD:s, which he then mails to his enemies?

Those are his Shieldettes(tm) that he launches at foes incessantly. Few can withstand the onslaught.

I think "Drink-coaster man" once won against him, though.

Silent Storm takes place in World War III, by the way, in an alternate universe where World War II wasn't fought yet, so it is called World War II even though to us it is III, and it is the exact same as our World War II except the soldiers have robot suits and Ethel Merman is a man.

In the Matrix.

It would have been so cool if the software for the Matrix would have been manufactured by America Online! It would crash every five minutes! The title for the sequel would have been "The Matrix rebooted".

World War Two Robot Fighters should be Michael Crichton's next novel. It would be about Robot Fighters in World War Two versus dinosaurs and gorillas wearing nazi helmets.

But you couldn't call it Robot Fighters versus Dinosaurs and Gorillas Wearing Nazi Helmets in World War Two because that would be too long of a title for a book. That is what makes Michael Crichton so smart: he makes short book titles. That way, he sells more books.

Rats. I'm channelling Grunion Guy again.
